NATUS EZ-POWER Distribution Panels and Huaxing Secondary Power Distribution Solution Support Display Panel Production Lines
From the main distribution cabinet in the workshop to the power interfaces of individual process machines, the quality of secondary power distribution directly affects whether a cleanroom facility can maintain a continuous power supply during equipment installation, production line expansion, and circuit modifications.
This final stage of power distribution—the connection between the main distribution cabinet and individual production machines—is a critical part of the overall electrical infrastructure.
Recently, NATUS Electric undertook a secondary power distribution project for Guangzhou Huaxing Optoelectronics, in cooperation with Shanghai Jiwei Electronic System Engineering Co., Ltd. The project involved supplying EZ-POWER plug-in distribution panels and plug-in MCCBs, with the equipment delivered to the project site in Guangzhou.

Project Background
Guangzhou Huaxing Semiconductor is the operating entity of TCL CSOT's T9 high-generation flat panel display (FPD) production line, focusing on the manufacturing of high-end IT, automotive, and professional display panels.
Such production lines represent typical critical-load applications, where processes including photolithography, array fabrication, and module assembly place extremely high demands on voltage stability, power supply continuity, and maintenance flexibility. Even a brief power interruption can disrupt production and potentially result in yield losses.
As the final stage of the power distribution system connecting distribution cabinets to individual production machines, secondary power distribution must do more than simply deliver electricity. It needs to support phased production line construction, equipment relocation, and load adjustments while enabling expansion and maintenance without interrupting the power supply.
NATUS Solution
The main equipment supplied for this project consists of EZ-POWER plug-in power distribution panels, complemented by plug-in MCCBs in multiple specifications.

Multiple distribution panel capacities: Batch supply of 400A, 630A, 800A, 1000A, and 1250A distribution panels.
Flexible branch circuit configurations: 1P, 2P, and 3P MCCBs, with current ratings ranging from 16A to 630A.
Standard accessory delivery lead time: 35 days. Deliveries are arranged in batches according to the project schedule, with the lead time commencing after confirmation of the technical drawings and solution.
The products feature an independent plug-in structure for each branch circuit. Adding new circuits, replacing circuit breakers, or performing maintenance on an individual circuit does not require shutting down the entire distribution panel. Other circuits can continue operating normally.
This is precisely the zero-downtime maintenance capability that 24/7 display panel and semiconductor manufacturing facilities value most.

Technical Advantages for Cleanroom Display Panel Facilities
1. Hot-Swappable Design
Where permitted by the distribution panel design and operating procedures, MCCBs support plug-in and removal operations. This allows load adjustments without interrupting the main busbar power supply.
2. Reserved Capacity for Future Expansion
The reserved plug-in positions allow additional circuits to be installed as production requirements evolve. This means facilities do not need to finalize all load requirements during the initial construction phase, helping shorten project lead times and simplify future expansion.
3. Circuit Integrity
The busbar system features an integrally molded epoxy resin insulation structure, providing a circuit integrity capability of 750°C for 3 hours and complying with IEC 60331 requirements, subject to the applicable type-test reports.
4. Protection Against Accidental Contact
The conductive sections of the plug-in openings are protected by insulation shielding, with an IP21 protection rating.
5. Modular Configuration
The standardized modular design makes it easier to add branch circuits, modify distribution configurations, and carry out routine on-site maintenance.
For secondary power distribution projects, these design features help reduce production interruption risks and simplify electrical modifications in cleanroom environments.
