Product Overview

EZ-POWER Plug-in Power Distribution Cabinet is a new-generation end-end power distribution device independently developed by NATUS Electric for scenarios requiring extremely high power supply continuity.

Compared with traditional fixed distribution cabinets, NATUS Power Distribution Cabinet adopts a plug-in branch switch design, allowing circuits to be added, replaced or maintained while the equipment is energized, without any power outage. The integrated conductor and epoxy-resin cast busbar technology greatly improve current-carrying capacity and fire safety. The high-density design supports up to 72 circuits per cabinet, significantly saving distribution room space. The electric distribution system fully complies with GB/T 7251.2 and IEC 61439-2 international standards and is widely used in 24-hour uninterrupted power supply scenarios such as semiconductor, LCD display, hospitals and rail transit.

NATUS EZ-POWER Plug-in Power Distribution Cabinet Structure

1. Double-layer door panel system

The outer door accommodates metering instruments / monitoring units, while the inner door provides safety protection to prevent accidental contact with live parts.

2. Main frame

Aluminum-zinc coated steel plate with a multi-layer bending process, high strength and corrosion resistance; the surface is treated with electrostatic powder coating.

3. Busbar system

Epoxy-resin composite material integrally cast, with integrated toothed insulation shielding and IP21 protection class.

4. Branch switch unit

Plug-in Molded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) with safety hanging design; independent sockets for each phase prevent wrong insertion.

5. All-round protection system

All primary and secondary live parts are isolated by polycarbonate (PC) protective covers, and the cabinet enclosure protection class is IP41.

6. Safety design

The busbar meets IK10 impact level; unused sockets can be sealed with protective devices; the branch switch has safety hanging protection before insertion to prevent falling.

The MCCB can be used with a variety of brands and 1P, 2P and 3P MCCB switches. MCCB can be inserted and withdrawn with power, quick and easy to increase or decrease the load. The conductive clamp contact surface features silver-plated treatment, with the external spring plate securely crimped flat to withstand a 54kg insertion force test.

Can branch switches really be inserted and withdrawn while energized? Is it safe?

Yes. EZ-POWER power distribution cabinet uses independent phase sockets, and the energized busbar parts are protected to IP21. There is no electric shock risk during plug-in operation. A safety hanging device also prevents the switch from falling before insertion or after withdrawal, making operation safe.

How many outgoing circuits can one electrical distribution cabinet support at most?

A single busbar supports up to 72 outgoing circuits. 36P, 54P or 72P module specifications can be selected according to actual needs, and the width of 1P is 35mm.

Which MCCB brands are supported?

Standard compatibility covers mainstream 1P, 2P and 3P MCCBs from NATUS Electric, Schneider, Siemens and ABB. Other brands can also be customized according to customer requirements.

Can the busbar really achieve 3-hour fire resistance?

Yes. The busbar is integrally cast from epoxy resin composite material and has passed IEC 60331 testing. It does not short-circuit after 3 hours of flame burning at 750℃, meeting the highest fire protection requirements.

Are special tools required for installation and replacement?

No. Only a common flat-head screwdriver is required to install and remove branch switches. No professional training is required, and operation is simple and convenient.

Is a customized 3200A high-current solution available for the power distribution cabinet?

Yes. Standard power distribution cabinet products cover 250A-1600A, and 3200A high-current non-standard customization is supported for special projects.

What power distribution cabinet installation methods are available?

Wall-mounted and floor-standing installation methods are available. Small-current specifications (≤400A) can be wall-mounted, while large-current specifications are recommended to use floor-standing installation.
