European Delegation Visits NATUS Power Equipment Industrial Park

 2026-11-06 | View:17

On October 30, 2026, a European business delegation visited the NATUS Power Equipment Industrial Park in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, for an on-site inspection and exchange visit. The delegation focused on smart manufacturing, green power distribution and industrial chain collaboration, exploring pathways for two-way openness and mutual benefit between China and Europe in the electrical equipment sector. Xiao Liang, Vice President of NATUS Group, and Martin Wengler, Deputy General Manager of the Production Operations Center, accompanied the guests throughout the visit.

The delegation toured the company showroom, the digital R&D center and the smart production workshops in turn. Xiao Liang and Martin Wengler presented NATUS Group's development history, core technology base, and the construction, operation and industrial ecosystem of the park. NATUS traces its origins to Germany in 1956 and established its Changzhou Tianning base in 2009. As the Group's integrated Asia-Pacific R&D and manufacturing base, the park brings together German industrial engineering standards and Chinese digital manufacturing capabilities, forming an industrial platform that combines R&D and innovation, smart production and upstream-downstream clustering. It now hosts eight supply chain partners and a full product matrix spanning medium- and low-voltage switchgear, eco-friendly gas-insulated ring main units, busway systems and energy-storage distribution equipment. These systems deliver complete power distribution solutions for new energy, rail transit and data center applications — a transition from equipment manufacturer to integrated system solution provider.

Throughout the visit, the delegation showed particular interest in smart power distribution, low-carbon manufacturing, product carbon footprint management and digital twin R&D in the context of Europe's energy transition. They spoke highly of the park's intelligent production lines, its full-chain R&D system, and its approach to balancing international standards with localized innovation. Both sides held practical discussions on European market access requirements, the next generation of power distribution technology for renewable energy, deeper supply chain coordination and mutual learning on technical innovation, exchanging industry experience and identifying potential areas of cooperation.

The visiting European guests noted that Europe's green energy transition is accelerating, and that demand for safe, efficient and low-carbon electrical equipment continues to grow. They observed that NATUS combines German engineering foundations with large-scale Chinese smart manufacturing capacity, and that its products, technologies and solutions align closely with the real requirements of the European market. They expressed the hope that this visit would serve as a bridge to open further two-way communication channels, advance technology, trade and industrial linkages, and strengthen the foundation of China–Europe industrial and supply chain cooperation.

Xiao Liang, Vice President of NATUS Group, said that Changzhou Tianning's advantageous location and complete industrial ecosystem make it a strategic anchor for NATUS to serve the Asia-Pacific region and connect with global markets. Europe is a key overseas market for the Group, where the two sides are highly complementary and enjoy broad scope for cooperation. The visit built an important bridge for the company to connect with European industrial resources and benchmark against leading international standards. Guided by its "Smart-driven, Green-led" development philosophy, NATUS will continue to deepen China–Europe industrial dialogue from its Asia-Pacific R&D and manufacturing base, actively respond to the market requirements of Europe's energy transition, and empower green, low-carbon development through technology innovation — bringing together industrial resources from China and abroad to achieve mutual benefit and shared progress through open cooperation.
