Data Center Power Distribution

Compact and reliable power distribution for data center infrastructure

NATUS supports data center power distribution projects with compact C-GIS, medium-voltage switchgear, low-voltage switchgear, busduct systems and power quality solutions. The solution focuses on high reliability, compact installation, fast delivery and stable power supply for artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing and high-density computing infrastructure.

01 — INDUSTRY CHALLENGES

Industry Challenges

01

Unplanned outages bring massive economic losses for data-center operators; projects demand resilient power architecture to meet Tier-level continuity requirements for critical IT loads.

02

AI-driven high-density computing generates large-current load demands. Conventional power equipment occupies excessive valuable floor space that could otherwise be used for IT cabinets.

03

Data centers are usually built in phased phases. Power-distribution hardware must support staged capacity expansion without large-scale early-stage over-investment.

04

Critical emergency circuits require qualified fire-resistant power paths to maintain power supply under fire-safety fault scenarios.

05

Power-room equipment needs maintainable design to allow maintenance with minimum impact on live IT-load operation.

06

Hyperscale and regional data-center projects require robust delivery coordination and complete certified technical documentation for design review & Tier compliance assessment.

02 — SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE

NATUS Solution Architecture

NATUS provides a full-set power-distribution portfolio tailored for data-center critical loads. Compact C-GIS reduces medium-voltage footprint; low-voltage switchgear supports redundant architecture and maintainable operations;P-LINE busduct & fire-resistant busduct deliver high-current capacity, space-saving routing and fire-safe emergency power paths. Complementary power-quality products mitigate harmonic & voltage risks for sensitive compute hardware. The whole system supports phased expansion, and we provide full documentation & delivery coordination for hyperscale data-center projects.

05 — FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Our medium-voltage switchgear portfolio (C-GIS, RMUs, metal-clad switchgear, vacuum circuit-breakers and GIS gas-tank modules) can be type-tested in compliance with relevant parts of the IEC 62271 series (including IEC 62271-1, IEC 62271-100, IEC 62271-200). NATUS delivers corresponding IEC-compliant technical documentation, product-selection support and factory-acceptance-testing coordination for medium-voltage projects. Low-voltage products, including Energon low-voltage switchgear and NTQS81 voltage-stabilization products, follow applicable low-voltage standards and are outside the scope of IEC 62271.
C-GIS, low-voltage switchgear, busduct systems and power quality products can be combined according to voltage level, load density and room layout.
Busduct systems provide high-current transmission with compact routing and flexible connection options, helping reduce cable congestion in electrical spaces.
Yes. NATUS provides product datasheets, general-arrangement drawings, type-test reports and delivery coordination, to support design review and Tier-compliance assessment requirements.
C-GIS, low-voltage switchgear and P-LINE busduct support modular expansion. Customers can deploy hardware step-by-step along with IT-rack roll-out to avoid excessive upfront investment.
