Product Overview

NVT-12 is a new-generation 12 kV embedded-pole vacuum circuit breaker launched by NATUS Electric by integrating 50 years of power equipment manufacturing experience. It fully complies with Chinese national and industry standards.
The medium-voltage circuit breaker adopts well-known domestic vacuum interrupters and advanced embedded insulation technology, and is equipped with a mature and reliable modular spring operating mechanism. It features a simple structure, stable operation and maintenance-free performance. It can be flexibly installed in mainstream 650 mm, 800 mm and 1000 mm medium-voltage switchgear at home and abroad. Its interface dimensions are fully interchangeable with mainstream global circuit breakers, and it has extensive global application records. As a medium-voltage breaker, it is widely used in power plants, substations, petrochemical, metallurgy, manufacturing, airports and other medium-voltage distribution scenarios, and is suitable for short-circuit current breaking, cable / transformer / generator switching, capacitor bank switching and other operating conditions.

Optimized opening buffer technology
Fitted with a high-performance opening oil buffer, the medium-voltage breaker fully absorbs opening energy, effectively reducing moving-contact overtravel and rebound, lowering the probability of arc restrike, protecting the bellows of the vacuum interrupter and extending mechanical life.

Compact design
Thanks to epoxy resin insulation, the nvt series vacuum circuit breaker greatly reduces phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground distances, making the circuit breaker compact and suitable for 650 mm-wide compact switchgear to save distribution room space.

The interface dimensions of NVT-12 are fully compatible with 12 kV vacuum circuit breakers from mainstream international brands such as ABB, Schneider and Siemens. It can be directly replaced without modifying the switchgear.
The mechanical life is 30,000 operations for 20/25/31.5 kA ratings and 20,000 operations for 40/50 kA ratings, reaching Class M2. Regular maintenance can effectively extend actual service life.
When rated current exceeds 2500 A, a cooling cover is required. The 4000 A model also requires a forced air cooling system to keep temperature rise within the standard range.
It supports remote operation through an electric chassis truck, contact temperature online monitoring, mechanical characteristic online monitoring, partial discharge monitoring and integration into distribution automation systems.
The embedded pole integrally casts the vacuum interrupter in epoxy resin, isolating it from dust, moisture and other external environmental factors. It provides more stable insulation performance, reduces conductive connection points, lowers loop resistance, improves reliability and enables maintenance-free operation of the main circuit.
